My Thirty-One Goes Pink

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is the time of year where you see pink everywhere to increase the awareness of this disease. It is also a great time to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure

If you place a Thirty-One online order with me in the month of October, I will donate 20% of the sale to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. All you need to do is visit my website, www.Amy31.com and click on place an order. From there you just shop away and know you are helping a worthy cause.

I will keep a running total of how much has been raised here on my blog. At the end of the month, I will also draw a name for someone to win a free (retired style) Pink Ditzy Thermal Tote with the Thirty-One logo on it.

I'm sure many of you have known someone affected by breast cancer too. I good friend of mine is battling this disease for the second time (and is winning... again). We are the same age and both have young daughters. Many times I've felt so helpless. This is my little way to do what I can for my friend, our daughters and all the courageous women fighting this disease.
