My Thirty-One Goes Pink

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is the time of year where you see pink everywhere to increase the awareness of this disease. It is also a great time to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure

Thirty-One across the USA

It's really amazing how much Thirty-One Gifts has grown in the past year. I remember last October, as we celebrated our 5th anniversary, we also celebrated signing out 5, 000th consultant. Now, just about a year later, we have had more than 11,000 people join Thirty-One. Even though not all 11, 000+ are still active, we are still growing by leaps and bounds every day.

The Albany Bag

There are so many new products in Thirty-One Gifts' new Fall/Winter catalog that it's difficult to decide where to start. So I turn to my good friend and fellow Oceans 31 teammate Sandy who is raving about the new Albany Bag. It's her favorite new bag. Now that I've really taken a look at it myself, it's moving up the list to one of my favorites too.

It's a good size purse that isn't too big. It has the perfect length handles for throwing it over your shoulder and it stays there. The straps are leather, it has a zipper closure and there are little "feet" on the bottom. The Albany bag is available in Black, Dot Dot and Chocolate Spots.

Personalization with Thirty-One

What makes a Thirty-One Gifts item so truly unique is that most of them can be personalized... a one of a kind gift! For only an additional $6, you can add a name, single letter, initials or even your favorite phrase to our purses, totes, thermal bags and spa items. When looking through the catalog, anything marked with an "E" can be embroidered.

When personalizing your item, you need to decide the font and color of the thread. Here is a copy of the latest Embroidery Guide to help with that decision. There are 24 different font styles and 26 font colors. This guide is so helpful because it has the full alphabet for each font as well as suggested font colors for most fabric patterns.

When ordering a personalized item online, please be sure to enter your personalization EXACTLY as you want it to appear on your item. If you type all caps, it will come all caps. For 3-initial monogram, they will appear in the order you place them. Read through the guide carefully for more tips on ordering embroidered items.

Do I Have to Inventory Product and Make Deliveries?

Thirty-One National Conference

I'm back from Thirty-One Gifts' National Conference in Orlando. What a blast! I met so many wonderful women that inspired me so much. It's amazing on how successful many of them are in such a short amount of time. The company has grown 300% since last year. Amazing!

On top of a fun awards night, lots of free gifts and motivating classes, we all got to see the new Fall/Winter line. All I can say is WOW! If you've like all our catalogs in the past, you are certainly going to love this one. I don't want to spoil the fun for you when you see it for yourself. But I will give a few hints. There's a new size for the Thermal Tote, a great improvement on the skirt purse (but don't worry, you old skirts will still fit) and cute new patterns like Chocolate Blossom, Dot Dot and Doggie Bag.

Got you interested? Well, you don't need to wait too long to see the new catalog. A preview version of it will be released at the beginning of July. As soon as I can, I'll post it for you to see. You can start shopping from the new catalog starting August 1. That gives you plenty of time to shop from the current Spring/Summer catalog. But don't wait too long. Thirty-One National Confence in Disney.. tomorrow!

I can not wait. The Thirty-One National Conference is tomorrow and, here's the icing on the cake, it's a Disney World in Florida! I'm so excited. I'm packing my bags today and flight leaves first thing in the morning. Yay!

I'm most excited to meet all my Thirty-One friends that I have been in touch with for so long. This is the first time I'll meet my Director Gretchen in person. We talk almost every week but have never met. So excited. I'll also be meeting Sandy who is on my team and from California. She is seriously one of the sweetest people in the world. I can't wait!!!! Did I mention that I'm excited?

But there's still so much more to do. I'll also be getting lots of great training from the wonderful Thirty-One team. We will have a chance sneak preview the Fall/Winter line. And at Awards Night, I'll be walking across stage and meeting Cindy Monroe, President of Thirty-One because of my promotion to Director. All this packed into 3 days!

Summer Fun with Thirty-One

The official start of summer is only a few days away. Be sure to celebrate it every day with Thirty-One Gifts. Here are a few products that you will use all summer long...

Thirty-One Gifts has done it again with it's "Zip Flap" Messenger Bag. It's similar to the popular skirt purse because with the Messenger Bag you can change it's look without changing the bag.

Congratulations Amy & Steve

I had to post a HUGE congratulations to Amy and Steve S. who recently promoted to Director with Thirty-One Gifts! What an amazing accomplishment. Amy and Steve, a husband and wife team from NC, joined my team in the fall. Less than a year later they promoted Director. With becoming a Director you get a "pay raise" and a $1000 bonus.

Thirty-One Gifts Breaks Ground on Expansion Project

31 Kid.... Not Just for the Kids!

I really love so many products in Thirty-One Gifts' new 31 kid catalog. Not only because I'm a mom of 2 little ones, but because so many of the products can be used for ME. Here's a few of my favorites.

• Thermal Bottle Carrier used to hold your water bottle. I've sold so many of these to people who do not even have children. They are the perfect size to put your water, juice or soda bottle into. They are thermal lined so the drink stays cold. When you put them in your bag, everything doesn't get wet from the "sweat" that forms on your bottle. I have a few just for me. I love this product.
  
• Mommy Tote as a gym bag. This is a great size to fit all your necessities in for going to the gym. It's made of a vinyl material so you can just wipe it off if you need to. And, this is my favorite part, the side pockets designed to hold sippy cups can easily fit your water bottle. Perfect!
• Kids' Fold 'n Go Organizer for your calendar. Yes, the Kids' Fold 'n Go Organizer is great for bringing fun activities for the kids on a trip. But, you can also organizer yourself with this. Put your day planner in the middle, pen, calculator and address book. It's a nice little office on the go.
• Grab 'n Go Backpack for me. This backpack is perfect for your little one. But, it's also great for mom when she wants to be hands free (to help keep control of the children) and a small backpack is enough. I just ordered one for myself and can't wait for it to come in.
